James Rae is a professional actor in film and television, active for over 40 years in both French and English, appearing in over 65 productions in the U.S. and Canada. James is bilingual, with numerous credits in French film and television.

James has acted in feature films such as The Aviator (directed by Martin Scorsese), The Education of Little Tree (produced by Jake Eberts), and A Cry in the Night (produced by Robin Spry), to name just a few. He recently appeared in a French TV Mini-series, Désobeir: Le choix de Chantal Daigle as Supreme Court Chief Justice Ritson. Other recent credits include a turn as a police chief and another as a homeless man in upcoming feature films, illustrating his diverse range of roles.

Extensive experience in dubbing, voiceovers and commercials rounds out his career activities. 

James Rae is a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), and of the Union des Artistes (UDA).
